The Mac-only product Screenflow makes the video side a lot easier (built-in audio mixing, editing, titles, exporting, etc) but there's still a ton of work to do. I'm getting ready to ramp up another notch and try a two-camera setup with BoinxTV, but I'm leery of how much work it's going to be! Yeah, you’re right, it’s an undertaking alright. (i.e. an 8 minute video typically takes 8 hours to create/produce when you figure in the time to create a simple problem/test-environment, create any needed slides, mix audio and video, edit out bloopers, tweak sound levels, and so on).
